Eurasian oystercatcher nest (Haematopus ostralegus) containing three eggs. The Eurasian oystercatcher breeds in western Europe, central Eurasia, China and the western coast of Korea. The nest is a bare scrape in the ground and between 2 and 4 eggs are laid. Photographed, on Texel Island, the Netherlands, in May.
