This small satellite was launched as part of NASA's Hitchhiker program to launch small satellites. It included several experiments designed to demonstrate the possibilities of future space technologies, including a GPS receiver to examine the usefulness of GPS on a spinning spacecraft, and a CCD camera and whale tracker, and a magnetometer. The satellite's orbit decayed on 25 October 1999. Photographed on 14 December 1998.
