Monitoring of stomach dyspepsia. False-colour computer enhanced gamma scan of the human stomach with dyspepsia (indigestion) during tests to study its rate of emptying. Here, at 10 minutes after swallowing a radioactive product, the stomach (coloured yellow) has received a radioactive solution, most of which is concentrated in red areas. The stomach entrance (round red area) contains most of the swallowed solution. This is the first in a series of images (see: M140/121 and M140/122). Dyspepsia or indigestion is a common term for a variety of eating and digestive dis- orders. It may be caused by incorrect diet, peptic ulcer, stress, accompanied by nausea or vomiting.
