Fungal nail infection on the toenails of a 55 year old male patient.?Known as onychomycosis, or tinea unguium, this condition can be caused by various fungi. The infection has caused the toenails to become thickened and curved (onychogryphosis). Treatment is with antifungal creams or drugs.
