Sargussum sp. seaweed floating by polarised radiometer being used as part of NASA's Ship-Aircraft Bio-Optical Research (SABOR) experiment in the Sargasso Sea. The SABOR experiment is a coordinated ship and aircraft campaign off the U.S. Atlantic Coast aimed at advancing the technology needed to measure microscopic plankton in the ocean from space.
