SILVER COMMUNION PITCHER.
Augsburg. 1707-11. Daniel I Sch鋐fler.

Silver with remains of gilding. On multiply retracted round foot with profiled edges pearshaped; smooth body. In the upper part; exhibited from a small round profile and with pointed console spout and curved ear handle. The slightly domed hinged lid flattened at the top and with spinning top knob as well as forked thumblift. Ca. 972g. Height 27.5cm.

Inscribed on lid; pitcher edge and foot: Inspection mark Augsburg 1707-11 (Seling no.1320); maker's mark Daniel I Sch鋐fler (1701-1727; ib. no.1951). Condition A/B.
